A l’occasion des 20 ans de la réforme de 1999 une journée d’études sur la Chambre des Lords: « Getting the houses in order’: agenda-setting, policy-making and legislating in the House of Lords » a été organisée à l’Université de Poitiers le 11 octobre 2019. Elle a porté sur les évolutions de la représentativité, du rôle, des pouvoirs et de l’activité politique de cette chambre controversée au sein du système institutionnel britannique.
